Hi! I'm Joanne, a full-stack software developer based in Dumaguete City, Philippines, with a backend-leaning focus on C#/.NET and Optimizely CMS. I build e-commerce platforms that hold up in production, from the database up through a Vue/Nuxt frontend.

I like the parts of the job most people skip past: clean data models, dependable integrations, and code that's still easy to read a year later. Outside of client work, I keep sharpening my frontend skills so I can own a feature end to end.

I also work with AI agents now, not just autocomplete. Claude Code handles a lot of the scaffolding and refactors I used to write by hand, but I still make the architecture calls and read every diff before it ships. It's changed how fast I get from a ticket to a working feature, not who's responsible when something breaks.
